Taster Days, Spring Term 2025
We are offering an exciting opportunity to try our classes!
If your child enjoys the taster they can sign up for the rest of term and learn skills in acting, singing and dance, working towards two productions a year in a real live theatre.
This is a very exciting time for Characters, last year we expanded our Saturday School into Two sessions. We relaunched our Stage Company and LAMDA Exams classes and now to accommodate this growth we are moving to a fantastic new location.
Our Saturday classes will now be held in the refurbished theatre at St Augustine’s Catholic College. This means each week the children can play & rehearse on the stage. What a treat!

Stage Company Relaunch
Our highly successful Characters Stage Company, which was well known in the local area between 2012 & 2019 for producing original plays, as well as working on the National Theatre Connections project ‘Bassett’ in 2016.
We’re excited to announce our re-launch with new sessions for 12-18 year olds.
At this free Taster the young people will be working with a professional director on theatre skills, as well as scenes and songs from plays and musicals like ‘Mean Girls’ & ’Six’.
